Businesses and community groups are encouraged to get nominations in early for the annual Christmas Pageant and afterparty.
The Pageant will begin at 6pm on December 6 and wind its way through the CBD, followed by the traditional celebration in Sturt Park afterwards.
The afterparty will kick off at 6:30 PM, featuring a variety of stalls, children's activities, and a special appearance by Santa.
Council's Community Development Coordinator, Rachel Merton, said early nominations for the event were a key to ensuring it all runs smoothly.
"There's a lot of logistics involved in staging the event, especially given the high number of floats and stalls we've seen over the last few years," said Ms Merton.
"Applicants don't need to have their floats or stall ready to go yet, but it's great to get names down as early as possible to get everything organised and ensure nobody misses out at the last minute."
Nominations can be made online here.
Pageant Float nominations must be lodged by 4.30pm, November 21, and afterparty stall registrations must be completed by 4.30pm, November 14.
