City of Launceston Mayor Albert van Zetten has recognised outgoing Launceston Chamber of Commerce executive officer Neil Grose for his leadership over the past three years.
Mr Grose announced yesterday that he would be leaving the Chamber in mid-June.
"The Council has had a positive and collaborative relationship with the Chamber and Mr Grose," Mayor van Zetten said.
"Neil has been and remains a passionate advocate for small and medium business in Launceston and I have no doubt that whatever role he fills in the future, he will continue to be a positive and supportive voice for the region."
