Civil Schedules Production Delayed

Delay to the production of Civil Schedules ready for 1 September 2025

The Legal Aid Agency (LAA) produces Civil Schedules for providers each new contract year, which commences on 1 September. The ongoing cyber security incident had an impact on this process, resulting in the delay to producing the physical copies of the schedules. However, there is no impact on the work of providers as the schedules are provided for information only and do not affect the ability to conduct work.

The schedules for 2025/26 will have the same allocation of matter starts as the 2024/25 schedules and no action is required from providers, who will be able to carry on work as normal.

Work should continue to be reported in line with the current contingency arrangements.

New schedules will be sent to all contract holders as soon as they have been produced.

Next Steps

No action is required. The new schedules will contain the same allocation of matter starts as the previous ones. This will not affect claims or payments.
