Clayton Utz has advised ASX-listed Energy World Corporation Limited (ASX: EWC) in connection with a successful A$65m capital raising. The raising was announced on 23 March 2021 and completed yesterday.
Perth-based Corporate partner Liz Humphry and lawyer Samuel Pullin led the firm's team.
The raising comprised a fully underwritten 1 for 2.21 pro rata non-renounceable entitlement offer. Gleneagle Securities (Aust) Pty Limited acted as lead manager and underwriter.
Energy World Corporation Limited will use the proceeds of the raising for the purpose of making payment due under an existing convertible note agreement and to fund project development.
