Mayor Anne Baker said Isaac Regional Council is proud to once again be a major sponsor of the event which showcases the very best of regional Australian living.

"The long history of the Clermont show traces back to the very origins of agricultural exhibitions in Queensland and it even pre-dates Brisbane's famed Ekka," Mayor Baker said.

"The proud tradition of the 'local show' remains a focal point for country life in regional Australia.

"It brings together travelling showmen and their attractions, local business and industry, graziers and growers, hobbyists of all pursuits, cooks and creative artists.

"It is going to be a ball of fun, excitement and adventure for people of all ages."

Mayor Baker said the Clermont Show continued to be a fantastic showcase of the enviable lifestyle and pure people power which drives the Isaac region.

"From cattle sales to wood chopping, a petting zoo to pavilion displays, the Clermont Show Committee always delivers a fabulous event, so don't miss out on great entertainment," she said.
