Climate Crisis: Do my actions make a difference?

UNSW

UNSW Professor Jeremy Moss says that people need to share the burden of acting on climate change, rather than just reduce their personal carbon footprint.

"It turns out one of the strongest reasons to take action is so you can do your fair share," the Professor of Political Philosophy says.

He has conducted intensive research into the one question he is asked the most by people: "Do my actions make a difference?"

To find this answer and others like it, Professor Moss has teamed-up with other academics at the Climate Justice Project, where he has produced a video discussing this enduring question.

The video has been released ahead of the Climate Crisis National Day of Action on Saturday, where thousands – including Prof. Moss - are expected to gather in cities and regional areas across Australia.

The Climate Justice Project focuses on the moral issues raised by climate change, and contains the latest information on topics such as carbon majors, ethics and exports, and climate justice beyond the state.
