Clyde Road - Berwick Building Blocks

Vic Department of Transport

Berwick Building Blocks eventbrite tile.

We're laying the foundations for Berwick's future engineers, designers and construction workers.

Join us at the Building 901 Foyer of Federation University, Berwick, where we'll have free daily interactive sessions from Monday 6 December to Friday 10 December 2021 and from Wednesday 5 January to Friday 7 January 2022, for children aged 3 to 7.

They'll learn what goes into our projects and use large scale building blocks to create their own rail bridge and road underpass, replicating the Clyde Road underpass.

The 45-minute sessions, which start on the hour from 9am to 3pm each day, will see the kids make their own rock planters to take home, dress up in construction gear and work through activity books focused on the design of the new underpass, environmental impacts and safety.

Learn more as we continue to work to make the Pakenham line level crossing free by 2025, with the Clyde Road level crossing to be gone in 2022.

We request that each child is accompanied by 1 adult only to adhere to capacity limits.
