Cobden armed robbery arrest

Detectives from Warrnambool Crime Investigation Unit have arrested a man following an armed robbery in Cobden.

Police allege a man walked into a service station on Camperdown-Cobden Road about 8.14pm on Monday 23 November.

Once inside the premises the man threatened the attendants with a knife and demanded cash.

The attendants complied and the man then fled the store.

Excellent police work has led to detectives arresting a 28-year-old Bacchus Marsh man in relation to the incident earlier today.

He was charged with armed robbery and has been remanded till the 17 February 2021.
