Police are appealing for public assistance after a car collided with a house in Hoppers Crossing yesterday, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a white Ford sedan lost control and struck a house at the corner of Mossfiel Drive and Bourke Crescent shortly before 6am on 2 August.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and is believed to have been picked up nearby by a white utility, similar to a Toyota Hilux.
No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
The male driver has been perceived as Caucasian and aged in his mid-30s.
It is possible the man was not wearing shoes.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
