Collins Street bag theft

Police are appealing for public assistance after two handbags worth $6000 each were stolen from a store in Collins Street last month.

Investigators have been told two men were walking along Collins Street about 4pm on 29 October.

The pair walked into a boutique and grabbed two Celine handbags before running from the store and down George Parade.

Police have released CCTV footage and images of two men that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
