Community Connection Event Grant Apps Now Open

Applications are now open for Hume City Council's 2026/27 Event Grant Program.

Round 2 of the 2026/27 Program is for the funding of community and neighbourhood events, held between 1 January 2027 and 30 June 2027, that bring people together close to home.

The Event Grant Program can help you bring your community together, whether you need startup funds or want to grow an event you already have.

Council is committed to supporting opportunities that bring people together, celebrate local talent, and promote community connection.

We are seeking applicants for:

  • Community and Neighbourhood Events - Small: for events with up to 1000 attendees; can apply for up to $2,000 in funding support.

  • Community and Neighbourhood Events - Medium: for events with up to 3,000 attendees; can apply for up to $12,000 in funding support
