Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Santo.
The 89-year-old hasn't been seen since last night when he left a family gathering in Dudley Street in Mitcham to head home to Bulleen around 9.45pm.
Santo is described as relatively fit and well for his age and was last seen driving off in his silver Toyota Prado 4WD with registration number QUA952.
Police and family are concerned for Santo's welfare due to his age, the cold weather conditions overnight and that it is out of character for Santo to go missing.
An image of Santo has been released in the hope someone recognises him and provides information on his current whereabouts.
Santo was last seen wearing a hat, black fleece top, blue polo t-shirt and white runners.
Anyone who sights Santo is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Doncaster Police Station on 8841 3999.
