Concern for missing man Tony

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Tony.

The 78-year-old was last seen at an assisted living facility in Cotham Road in Kew on Monday 9 August about 4.30pm.

Police are concerned for Tony's welfare due to his age and as he has dementia.

It is believed Tony may head towards Windsor or the city and will likely be walking.

An image of Tony has been released in the hope someone may recognise him and provide information on his whereabouts.

Tony is described as about 155cm tall and has a thin build; he has salt and pepper coloured hair which is long and balding on the top and a salt and pepper coloured beard.

He was last seen wearing blue hospital pants and a shirt, a grey jumper with black pattern on the chest and Blundstone boots.

Anyone who sees Tony is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Boroondara Police Station on 8851 1111.
