Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Vasiliki.
Officers have been told the 82-year-old was last seen at an aged care facility in Hunter Street Hawthorn about 2pm.
Police and family are concerned for Vasiliki's welfare as she has dementia.
It is unclear where Vasiliki may be headed.
An image of Vasiliki has been released in the hope someone recognises her and provides information on her current whereabouts.
Vasiliki is described as having a slim build, with medium length dye brown wavy hair.
She was last seen wearing a pink windcheater, black slacks and black slippers.
Anyone who sights Vasiliki is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information about her whereabouts is urged to call Boroondara Police Station on 8851 1111.
