Concerns for missing man in Prestons

Police have serious concerns for a man missing from Sydney’s south-west, NSW Police say.

Nuri Mehmet Askin, aged 73, was last seen at his home on Concettina Drive, Prestons, about 10.30am yesterday today.

Mr Askin’s family returned home about 3.30pm to find him missing from the home.

Police from Liverpool Local Area Command were contacted and are searching for the man.

He’s described as being of slim build, 172cm tall, bald with a grey beard. He was wearing navy blue tracksuit pants, a light navy blue jumper and sandals.

Police have serious concerns for Mr Askin’s welfare due to a medical condition he suffers, as well as his lack of warm clothes.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
