Concerns held for missing man in Oatlands

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a man missing from Sydney’s north-west this week, NSW Police say.

Dermit Lyons, aged 62, was last seen at a home on Warratta Place, Oatlands, about 9am on Tuesday (26 July 2016).

Officers from Rosehill Local Area Command were alerted after he couldn’t be located or contacted by family and friends.

Serious concerns are held for the man’s welfare due to a medical condition.

Mr Lyons is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm-175cm tall, of a medium build with sandy/greying hair.

He may be travelling in a white Nissan Navara utility, NSW registration BP-61-FT with trade signage on the side.

Anyone who may have seen a person or vehicle fitting this description is urged to contact Rosehill Police Station or Crime Stopers.
