Concerns held for missing man near Gosford, NSW

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man missing from Erina, near Gosford today, NSW Police say.

Tim Booth, aged 83, was last seen at a shopping centre on Terrigal Drive about 2.30pm today.

Police were alerted after he couldn’t be located or contacted by family.

Officers from Brisbane Water Local Area Command attended and launched an extensive search of the area.

Serious concerns are held for the man’s welfare due to his age as he is not familiar with the area.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 165cm tall and with balding grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey striped beanie, black jumper, black pants with white stripes on each leg, and brown ugg boots.

Anyone who may have seen a person fitting this description is urged to contact Brisbane Water Police Station Windsor Police Station or Crime Stopers.
