Following the Prime Minister’s announcement to extend restrictions to help stop the spread of coronavirus, Council has taken the following actions:
- Closed the Buy Back Shop at Portsmith. Council’s transfer stations remain open.
- The top gate at the summit of Lake Morris Road has been closed to restrict access to recreation facilities at Lake Morris (Copperlode Dam).
- Live testing of the outdoor early warning stations in Redlynch, installed as part of Council’s Copperlode Falls Dam Emergency Action Plan, scheduled for Thursday April 16, has been postponed.
Council’s key priorities remain the safety and wellbeing of staff and the community and continuity of services, as appropriate.
