A tender for major upgrades to Jindabyne's Sewer Pump Station #6 is now open for submissions, funded by the NSW Government's Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation as part of the Snowy Mountains Special Activation Precinct (SAP).
This joint project is delivering the essential infrastructure Jindabyne needs today and to serve the growing community and tourism industry in the years ahead. With the new Jindabyne Education Campus approaching completion, there is an immediate need to boost the capacity of the local sewer network.

Tender submissions accepted from Wednesday 20 August 2025 until 4PM AEST Friday 19 September 2025. All submissions must be received by this time.
Interested parties must obtain copies of the tender documentation from Council's VendorPanel e-tendering system at www.vendorpanel.com.au under reference number VP469256.
A mandatory on-site inspection for all tenderers is scheduled for Wednesday 27 August 2025 from 11am to 12pm.
Council will award the contract to the successful bidder within four weeks of submissions closing on Friday 19 September 2025. Practical completion for the project is due within 17 weeks of the contract being awarded.

Entirely funded by the NSW Government and delivered by Council, the upgrade project will see Jindabyne Sewer Pump Station #6 replaced with a completely new facility on the same site.
There will be no interruption to local sewer services while upgrades are underway. The current facility will continue operating as normal until the new pump station is ready to take over operations.
The completion of this new pump station will ensure that Jindabyne's sewer network is fit for the future.
