How are Council’s projects tracking?
Council are being asked to note the corporate performance of Council in the second quarter of the 2022-23 financial year.
The performance is measured in the following documents:
- Quarterly Budget Review Statements,
- 2022-23 Delivery Program and Operational Plan,
- Financial Sustainability Program Status Report,
- 2022-23 Key Performance Indicators Report, and
- Grants Status Summary.
The reporting includes an update on the status of the 164 actions outlined in the 2022-23 Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
16 projects are listed as ‘Behind Schedule’, mainly due to resource limitations, external supplier delays or weather-related issues.
Amendments to Kemp Street Sports Complex Master Plan
Councillors will determine whether to consult with users of the Kemp Street Sports Complex on proposed amendments to the Kemp Street Sports Complex Master Plan.
A local sports club committee has asked Council to remove the proposed new turf wicket and multi-sport area. The club expressed that their extended pre-season and summer activities taking place on the football (soccer) fields will be adversely impacted by the cricket facilities.
The club also provided its yearly schedule of extended usage of the fields and expressed that cricket would be unable to use the turf wicket sufficiently to justify its maintenance.
The recommendation from staff to Council is to carry out the review and consultation with the cricket groups and the football club.
Development activity between October and December 2022

The report includes the number of development applications determined, their approximate value and the number of dwellings approved.

|Month||Number of development applications determined||Approximate value of approvals||Approximate number of new dwellings approved|
