Council Hosts Supplier Info Sessions for Local Biz

Murray River Council

Murray River Council is inviting local businesses and contractors to attend upcoming Supplier Information Sessions designed to provide insights into Council's procurement process and its new online tendering platform, VendorPanel.

Council has recently adopted VendorPanel as its preferred platform for managing all Requests for Quote (RFQ) and Requests for Tender (RFT). From now on, all procurement opportunities will be issued exclusively through the system.

Council's CEO, Stacy Wiiliams said the sessions will give businesses the chance to learn more about working with Council.

"These sessions are all about supporting our local businesses to better understand our procurement process and how to use VendorPanel effectively."

"Whether you're an existing supplier or a new business interested in working with Council, we encourage you to come along."

By attending, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Meet members of Council's Procurement Team
  • Gain an understanding of Council's procurement process
  • Learn practical tips for preparing and submitting proposals
  • Receive guidance on registering with VendorPanel and joining Council's Supplier Lists
  • Hear about current and upcoming opportunities to work with Council

The sessions are particularly valuable for suppliers who are not yet registered on VendorPanel, may need assistance navigating the system, or would benefit from a clearer understanding of Council's procurement process.
