Council Hours Over Easter 2026

Council's administrative offices at Nowra and Ulladulla will be closed over the Easter period. Nowra is closed from 4pm Thursday 2 April and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 7 April. Ulladulla is closed from 2pm Thursday 2 April and will reopen at 10am on Tuesday 7 April.

Residents and visitors can call the after-hours helpline on 1300 293 111 for urgent matters or browse Council's website for answers to common queries or to submit a request online.

Waste and recycling depots - all recycling and waste depots are closed Friday 3 April, Saturday 4 April and Sunday 5 April. Depots with normal Monday opening hours are open Monday 6 April.

Shoalhaven libraries - closed from Friday 3 April, normal hours resume on Tuesday 7 April. Returns chutes remain open.

Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre - box office closed Friday 3 and Sunday 5 April. Open 10am - 2pm on Saturday 4 and Monday 6 April. Tickets available online over Easter.

Encore Café - closed from 2.30pm on Thursday 2 April until 8am on Tuesday 7 April.

Shoalhaven Regional Gallery - closed from Friday 3 April until Monday 6 April inclusive.

Shoalhaven Swim Sport and Fitness - each facility is different, so head to the website and check the facility you're planning to visit for public holiday opening hours.

Shoalhaven Visitor Information services - Nowra Visitor Information services will be closed Friday 3 April and Sunday 5 April. Open 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday 4 April and Monday 6 April. Ulladulla Visitor Information services closed from Friday 3 April until Monday 6 April inclusive.

Bereavement services - closed from Friday 3 April until Monday 6 April inclusive. Visitation to cemetery grounds will be available during this time.

Shoalhaven Animal Shelter - open 9am - 11am each day, Friday 3 April until Monday 6 April inclusive.

Holiday Haven Parks - open Monday-Saturday 9am - 5pm. Sunday and public holidays 9am - 4pm.
