One of the Snowy Monaro's favourite annual events returns over two big weekends this November, with the 2026 instalment of the national Garage Sale Trail shaping up to be the biggest yet.
Council will be hosting our ever-popular second-hand sales in Jindabyne on Saturday 7 November 2026 as part of weekend one and Cooma on Sunday 15 November 2026 as part of weekend two. Stallholder registrations for both events are open now and won't last long.
Weekend one runs from Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 November 2026 with weekend two on the very next week from Saturday 14 to Sunday 15 November 2026.

More than 2800 people in the Snowy Monaro took part in the 2025 Garage Sale Trail at 107 local sales and stalls. The average local takings per sale were $835, with $86,922 in second-hand goods sold across the region over the two weekends.
Local bargain hunters saved an estimated total of $125,000 on their second-hand purchases compared to buying new.
All in all, the 2025 Garage Sale Trail was a win-win-win for buyers, sellers, and the environment too.
