Council Seeking Additional Community Representatives

Eurobodalla Council is seeking members for two advisory committees – three positions on the shire's Aboriginal Advisory Committee and eight positions on the newly formed Creative Arts Advisory Committee.

Eurobodalla Mayor Mathew Hatcher encourages anyone with the relevant skills to put their hand up.

"Eurobodalla is full of incredible individuals with unique skills and experience, and Council relies on their insight to make better decisions and deliver better outcomes. Here's an opportunity to let your talents shine while benefitting the broader community," the Mayor says.

The Aboriginal Advisory Committee meets four times a year to assist Council on matters affecting Indigenous people, supporting the delivery of Council programs, and promoting Aboriginal culture across Eurobodalla. Three advisory positions are now available.

Council is also calling for expressions of interest to join the new Creative Arts Advisory Committee, with all positions now open. Meeting four times a year, members will advise Council on arts, culture and creative opportunities across the shire, supporting the delivery of the Creative Arts Strategy, and helping identify priorities to assist local creatives. Eight members are needed with Council seeking applicants with a good geographic spread across the shire, representation of different groups and a broad range of experience.
