Port Stephens Council has been shortlisted in 4 categories for the 2023 Local Government Excellence Awards, after lodging only 4 submissions!
The NSW Local Government Excellence Awards celebrate outstanding achievements and promote innovation and continuous improvement within NSW local government. The awards demonstrate the excellent work being undertaken by NSW councils and showcase the work throughout the state.
Council submitted applications and are finalists in the following award categories:
- Asset and Infrastructure: Stuart Park Amenities
- Community Partnerships: Karuah Place Plan and implementation
- People, Workplace, Wellbeing: PSCare
- Special Project Initiative: Foreshore Drive
The winners will be announced at the Local Government Excellence Awards dinner being held on 1 June 2023.
