COVID restrictions & Council services

Council facilities are currently closed to the public in accordance with COVID-19 circuit breaker restrictions.

Under current restrictions you must stay at home unless:

  • shopping for necessary goods and services (one person per household, once per day, a support person can accompany if required)
  • caregiving or compassionate reasons
  • authorised work or permitted education, or work interstate
  • exercise (up to two hours, with one other person or members of your household)
  • receive a vaccination
  • other specified reasons (specific exemptions apply)

Exercise and shopping will be limited to five kilometres from your home except in specific circumstances, with the distance extended to 10kms from your home from 11.59pm Thursday 3 June - view the restrictions here.

Face masks will need to be worn indoors and outdoors - whenever you leave home.

You won't be able to have visitors to your home. And any public gatherings won't be able to go ahead.

All non-essential retail will close, but essential stores like supermarkets, bottle shops and pharmacies will remain open. Cafes and restaurants will only be able to offer take-away. Checking in via a QR code will be mandatory in all retail settings like supermarkets and shops - anyone entering a shop or a cafe will need to check-in
