Twelve women have travelled from across Australia to attend a leadership retreat in Canberra, as part of the Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program.
The program is proudly run by the National Farmers' Federation (NFF).
NFF President David Jochinke said this year's participants were a joy to host.
"The 2025 participants are exceptional, and it was my honour to join them on their Leadership Retreat in Canberra this week," Mr Jochinke said.
"The NFF is committed to doubling the number of women in agricultural leadership ranks by 2030, as per our Roadmap, and the Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program is a huge part of that."
Over the past four days, the participants met politicians, underwent training, visited Parliament House, and met their personal mentors.
Participant Malinda Guest said the program offered her connections she wouldn't have made otherwise.
"This program in itself offers some really brilliant opportunities for professional growth, opportunities for networking, but also the really incredible opportunity to work with (mentor) Loretta," Malinda said.
Her mentor, Telstra's Loretta Willaton, said it was heartening to witness the enthusiasm from the cohort.
"I'm really excited about this relationship we'll have, and I think we'll create some amazing things with the networks, skills and knowledge that we've collectively got," Loretta said.
The Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program is made possible by the generosity of 30 dedicated industry partners.
"NFF is grateful to our visionary partners, who are passionate about advancing the leadership opportunities women in ag are offered," Mr Jochinke said.
"Now in its eighth year, the program goes from strength to strength, thanks to the support of our partners, commitment of mentors, and dedication of participants."
The cohort will continue working with their respective mentors to improve their leadership qualities, broaden their network, and learn new skills.
The 2025 participants will graduate in October.
