A man has been taken to hospital after being shot at Merrylands, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to a home in Price Street, Merrylands, about 10.45pm (Friday 17 November 2017), and found a man with a gunshot wound to his back.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he is reported to be in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established by police from Holroyd Local Area Command; inquiries are now underway.
