A critical incident investigation is underway after a woman was seriously injured in Sydney's south west.
About 10.30am on Saturday 11 October 2025, police attended a unit on Guildford Road, Guildford following reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command entered the unit before a woman was seen to fall from a window.
The 26-year-old woman was treated at the scene by police before the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.
She was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains in a stable condition.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation will be subject of an independent review by the Professional Standards Command and oversight by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
