Cyclist Hits Parked Car At Ridleyton

A cyclist sustained serious injuries after crashing into a parked car at Ridleyton overnight.

Emergency services were called to Torrens Road, Ridleyton about 12.40am on Tuesday 17 March by reports a cyclist riding an electric bike had collided with a RAV4 parked on the side of the road.

The cyclist, a 45-year-old Ovingham man, sustained a laceration to the head and chest injuries in the crash. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
