A cyclist has died after colliding with a car near Benalla this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
The collision occurred on Benalla-Yarrawonga Road in Devenish about 4.30pm.
The male cyclist died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped to assist the injured man and speak with police.
Benalla-Yarrawonga Road has been closed between Old Thoona and Link roads.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
