Latrobe City residents are in for a treat when celebrated actor, comedian and storyteller Damian Callinan comes to Moe for his Hall Stories show at Moe Town Hall on Friday 8 May 2026 at 7.30pm.
Latrobe City Council Mayor, Councillor Sharon Gibson, said she is delighted to welcome Damian to Moe.
"For many of us, Damian Callinan is a household name and it's going to be fantastic to see him in person bringing the stories of Moe Town Hall to life," the Mayor said.
"The best part is, your stories might even be part of the show!
"So, keep an eye out for Damian in our community and tell him a story or two about our cherished hall. I know I have a few I can share!"
In his show, Damian will combine his storytelling talents to uncover the quirks, traditions and characters of Moe Town Hall, bringing its unique story to life on stage.
Ahead of the performance, Damian will spend time in the local community, gathering stories, memories and moments that will help shape the show itself.
Community members are invited to attend a free meet-and-greet session at Moe Town Hall, where they can enjoy light refreshments and a chat with Damian while sharing their own hall stories.
The meet-and-greet session will be held on Wednesday 6 May 2026, with two sessions available: 3pm to 4.30pm and 6pm to 7.30pm.
