Dangerous Driving Appeal At Coominya

Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a dangerous driving incident at Coominya early this morning, 5 July.

Around 12.30am, officers responded to reports of dangerous driving involving a group of up to 10 vehicles on McLean Road.

The majority of the vehicles fled the area, upon police arrival.

It will be alleged a Ford Falcon Ute intentionally drove at a marked police vehicle, causing damage.

No officers were physically injured during the incident.

The vehicles involved have not yet been located and investigations remain ongoing.

Police remain committed to detecting, deterring, and disrupting dangerous driving behaviour to help keep Queensland roads safe. The assistance of the community plays a vital role in these investigations, and anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the vehicles travelling in the Coominya area around the time of the incident is urged to come forward.
