Dangerous driving charges in Narangba, QLD

Police have charged a man following the alleged dangerous driving of a car in Narangba last night., Queensland Police say

It will be alleged at about 11.30pm police observed a car on Brewer Street, Kallangur and it sped off.

The vehicle was tracked by Polair travelling through the Nerangba area, allegedly travelling at excessive speed and proceeding through red lights.

Tyre deflation devices were successfully deployed on Raynbird Road, Nerangba and the vehicle eventually stopped at Needletail Court.

The driver and sole occupant has ran from the car however he was located a short time later in a yard in Needletail Court, Nerangba.

A 33-year-old Kallangur man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, fail to stop motor vehicle, trespass, obstruct police, stealing, possession of dangerous drug, possession of utensil and two counts of driving without a licence.

He is expected to appear at the Caboolture Magistrates Court on September 22.
