Police have charged a man following a single vehicle crash at College View this afternoon, June 10.
Around 12.45pm, police responded to reports a white Isuzu truck travelling west on the Warrego Highway had left the road and struck a power pole.
It is alleged when emergency services arrived on scene, the driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 43-year-old Camira man, fled on foot before he was located and taken into custody a short distance away.
The man has been charged with multiple offences including one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of obstruct police.
He is due to appear in Gatton Magistrates Court on July 1.
Investigations are ongoing.
