Police are appealing for witnesses following a three-vehicle traffic crash at Beenleigh yesterday afternoon, 25 May.
Shortly after 2pm, a stolen white Hyundai iLoad and a white Jeep Grand Cherokee were seen driving dangerously along Main Street and George Street before continuing onto Logan River Road.
At 2.20pm, the cars collided with each other on Logan River Road at the intersection with Harburg Road, also crashing into a silver Nissan X-Trail.
The 19-year-old female driver of the Hyundai sustained an arm injury and was transported to Logan Hospital.
The 23-year-old male passenger of the Hyundai was not injured and has been arrested.
The two male occupants of the Jeep were not injured.
The 50-year-old driver has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on 22 June.
The 54-year-old woman driving the Nissan was not physically injured but was transported to hospital as a precaution.
Anyone who has dashcam or security footage the Hyundai and Jeep in the lead-up to the crash or who witnessed the crash is urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
