Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle at Bundaberg

Bundaberg police have charged two men following an alleged hooning incident on Saturday resulting in a pursuit through Moore Park Beach.

The 18-year-old local man was taken into custody after he was allegedly seen driving around 11pm in the white Ford Falcon sedan on its rims, at high speed and sliding sideways causing sparks to fly.

He will face Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 5, charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police and drink driving.

A 21-year-old passenger in the car was also charged with obstructing police and is also due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 5.

The vehicle was seized by police.
