Daw Park crash wanted man Jakob Johnson

Police are seeking the assistance of the public to locate wanted man Jakob Johnson.

Major Crash Investigators would like to speak with Jakob Johnson regarding a serious crash at Daw Park last week.

Just before 6.15am on Tuesday 23 February, a police patrol spotted a black Commodore sedan speeding north on Goodwood Road and activated their emergency lights. Moments later the Commodore collided with a white Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Goodwood Road and Dudley Street.

The male driver of the Commodore fled the scene on foot shortly after the crash. An extensive search was conducted, but police were unable to locate the driver.

Police believe Mr Johnson may be using a stolen 2016 grey Isuzu DMax with registration plate WNZ-291. He is described as a Caucasian male 175cm, slim build with short brown hair and has distinctive tattoos on his face.

Jakob Johnson is considered dangerous and warn members of the public not to approach him. If you see him or are aware of his whereabouts call the police assistance line on 131 444, or Triple Zero in an emergency.
