This Friday, 31 October 2025, Australians will unite for Day for Daniel, the nation's largest child safety awareness event and the Daniel Morcombe Foundation's biggest annual fundraiser.
The day honours the life of Daniel Morcombe, a 13-year-old boy who was tragically abducted and murdered on the Sunshine Coast. His legacy lives on through the Foundation, founded by his parents, Bruce and Denise, to honour Daniel and help prevent other children from suffering the same fate.
The Foundation provides free personal safety education, supports families, educators, and crime victims, and promotes lifelong well-being.
Since 2019, The Lott by Golden Casket has proudly supported the Foundation and this year, some of our retailers are joining the effort.
They'll decorate their stores with the Foundation's merchandise, wear red, collect donations through our official fundraiser, share child safety resources with customers, and some will participate in the Walk for Daniel on the Sunshine Coast.

Amber Alert: A Lifesaving Partnership
For over a decade, we've supported the Amber Alert system, helping spread urgent messages about abducted or high-risk missing children via lottery terminals in our outlets. We're working to expand this initiative to more jurisdictions, reinforcing our commitment to child safety.
Together, we can build a safer future for children. Show your support for Day for Daniel this Friday!
