Daylight break-in arrest at Henley Beach, South Australia

A man was arrested after allegedly trying to break-in to a Henley Beach home in broad daylight this morning.

A woman disturbed a man trying to jemmy a window on her Mitton Avenue, Henley Beach home about 10.50am on Wednesday 30 October. She locked herself inside and rang police.

Patrols quickly arrived at the scene and located the suspect on the property. The quick police response prevented any access being gained to the home and nothing was stolen.

The 34-year-old Seaton man was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated serious criminal trespass. He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
