Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Deanside this evening.
Emergency services were called to Sinclairs Road about 9.25pm to reports a vehicle had crashed into a power police and caught fire.
The driver, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
A child passenger of the vehicle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of the scene at the time of the crash.
