Southern District Police are currently searching the Woodcroft area, after a man armed with a knife robbed a deli a short time ago.
Just before 1pm on Tuesday 14 July, a man wearing a mask and armed with a knife entered a deli on Investigator Drive, threatened the staff and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The male suspect who was wearing a dark grey hooded top and black trackpants, fled on foot with a small amount of cash from the till and several packets of cigarettes.
There were no injures in the ordeal. Police patrols are currently searching the area and ask anyone with information on the robbery to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
