Chairperson of the Public Trustee Board, Mr Mark Scanlon, recently informed me of his decision to resign from the role effective from March 11, 2022.
Mr Scanlon has held the position of Chairperson of the Public Trustee Board since October 2016.
His strong experience and expertise in the finance and banking sector has added great value to the Board and the work of the Public Trustee.
The process to appoint a new Chairperson will commence shortly.
On behalf of the Tasmanian Liberal Government I would like to thank Mr Scanlon for his valuable and dedicated service and wish him well in his future endeavours.
