Deprivation of liberty at Logan, QLD

Detectives have charged two women in relation to an alleged deprivation of liberty and assault incident in Logan Central yesterday, Queensland Police say.

Around 2.30pm, it is alleged a 28-year-old woman was at a Pilbi Street address in Woodridge when she as assaulted by the women and forced to drive them to a Blackwood Road residence at Logan Central.

Once inside, the women threatened and assaulted a 30-year-old woman at the address.

Detectives attended a short time later and arrested the two women.

A 28-year-old Slacks Creek woman and 29-year-old Logan Central woman have been charged with one count each of armed robbery, enter dwelling with intent and wounding.

Both have been remanded in police custody and expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The women sustained facial injuries and cuts to the legs during the incident.
