Echuca Crime investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information following a robbery in Echuca yesterday, Victoria Police say.

The robbery took place in the car park of a hardware store on Ogilvie Avenue at 6.30am on Monday 11 June.

The victim, a 26-year-old Gunbower woman, told police that she had just parked her Toyota Yaris, registered 1EU 8JY, in the car park and was walking to the store when she was approached by two men.

One of the men demanded that she hand over her car keys while the second man pushed her to the ground and forced the keys from her hand.

The men, believed to be aged in their early 20s, got into the woman’s car and drove off.

Detectives are currently canvassing nearby businesses for security footage and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
