Detectives arrest two men following attempted armed robbery in Mildura

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two men following an attempted armed robbery in Mildura last Friday, Victoria Police say.

The incident allegedly took place at a grocery store on Deakin Avenue just after 5pm on 5 May.

A 19-year-old Mildura man has been charged with 11 offences which include attempted armed robbery and threat to inflict serious injury.

He has been bailed to appear at the Mildura Magistrates’ Court on 3 August.

A 17-year-old Mildura youth was remanded overnight to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

He was also charged with attempted armed robbery, threat to inflict serious injury and other associated offences.
