Detectives Charge Two, Seize 60kg Drugs in SW Sydney

Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged two men and seized almost 60 kilograms of drugs and $138,500 cash during raids in Sydney's southwest.

Strike Force Lupin is joint investigation between State Crime Command's Organised Crime Squad and the NSW Crime Commission to investigate the criminality of transnational Organised Crime Networks (OCNs) hailing from south-east Asia.

Following extensive inquiries, about 12.40pm yesterday (Wednesday 25 March 2026) strike force detectives observed a 23-year-old man dropping off two boxes in Barook Reserve, Mount Pritchard, before leaving the area.

A short time later, another 23-year-old man arrived to allegedly collect the boxes and was arrested as he returned to his car. Inside the boxes and vehicle, police allegedly seized 16 kilograms of methylamphetamine and $10,500 cash.

He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity.

The Mount Pritchard was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Thursday 26 March 2026).

About 1.40pm yesterday, strike force detectives executed search warrants at a Liverpool home and a storage facility in Moorebank.

During the search, detectives allegedly seized 28 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 15.7 kilograms of ketamine and about $128,000 cash.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at Liverpool and taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug >= large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug >indictable &

He was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Thursday 26 March 2026).
