Detectives investigate Maidstone attempted aggravated burglary

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an attempted aggravated burglary in Maidstone last month.

Investigators have been told a man tried to force entry to a Raglan Street address about 10.30am on 23 June.

The female occupant was working from home and on a video conference call when she heard the offender trying to break in.

The man left but returned a short time later and tried to break in again but was unsuccessful and fled on foot.

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He had a distinctive tattoo on his chest.
