Detectives investigate Richmond aggravated burglary

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary at an apartment building in Richmond this month, Victoria Police say.

It is believed two females have gained access to the Lyndhurst Street complex about 4am.

One of the women went through post boxes, locating a key to an apartment, while the other woman kept a lookout.

One of the women then proceeded to the apartment where the male occupant was sleeping at the time and stole an IPad and car keys before leaving.

One of the women is described as approximately 30-year-old, shoulder length blonde hair and was wearing a long grey jacket with black fur trim and carrying a large black and white patterned tote.

The second woman is approximately 30-years-old with brown hair tied back.

Investigators have released images of two females they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
