Detectives investigate Shepparton burglaries

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public help after a series of burglaries at residential properties in Shepparton in the early hours of this morning (18 August), Victoria Police say.

Police are investigating a series of burglaries at homes located on Varcoe Street, Carr Street, Guthrie Street, Lincoln Drive and Kirsten Street.

It is believed the burglaries took place between 4am and 7.30am.

In all of the burglaries, it is believed the unknown offenders entered the properties and stole a number of household items and electronics.

Police are urging local residents to check any CCTV footage they may have at their properties and to contact police if they are aware of any suspicious activity in the area.

One of the male offenders was wearing a hooded jumper and jeans and was carrying a backpack.

The second male was wearing jeans and a jumper.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
